Spring was in full bloom for the unforgettable Pittsburgh wedding of Kris and Stacia this May. The happy couple said "I do" surrounded by natural beauty at The Chadwick, with stunning a la carte florals from Bramble & Blossom setting the scene.
Kris and Stacia's vision came to life through the capable and creative hands of our Bramble & Blossom floral design team. During our initial consultation call, the couple chose this cool-toned color palette of purple, lilac, green, blue, and cream. Then they said we could run wild with the designs. All of our a la carte wedding flower packages are Designer's Choice and this means that you choose the color palette, tell us about your personal style, and then we do what we were born to do - make the dreamiest wedding florals possible using seasonal, locally grown flowers.
Local flower farms like Eleven Mile Farm, Edgeline Gardens, and Lauren Seiple provided seasonal blooms like tulips, honeywort, ranunculus, sweet william, scabiosa, lisianthus, larkspur, clematis, iris, and catmint. Bouquets bursting with texture and whimsy complemented the intimate, ethereal vibe. This was also one of the first weddings that connected us to the Pittsburgh Cut Flower Collective and we could not love them more. Having a local space for flower farmers to come together weekly during the growing seasons means less travel time and a lower carbon footprint for Bramble & Blossom and the flowers on offer there are just stunning!

The bride's custom-designed gown by Cathy Olivar is our favorite wedding look of this year, hands down. Those sleeves! The twirl! Ah! Her design method and ethos are in complete alignment with what we do here at Bramble & Blossom. Considering environmental impact at each step of the design process is ingrained in our work and Cathy is right there with us. We love to see it, friends! We love this eco-friendly fashion designer and she's right here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!
Kris and Stacia's wedding was the epitome of springtime romance and these two were so wonderful to work with. Kris especially had so many great insights into the couple's style and he was one of my favorite and most helpful grooms of 2023! Seeing Kris and Stacia on my calendar for a check-in call always made me look forward to my day, knowing that I'd be laughing and smiling talking to this sweet couple. Every time we communicated, it was so clear the love they had for one another and the joy they wanted to share with their guests. Their vision came to life through the talents of local vendors, and meaningful personal touches made it a day they'll never forget. We wish the newlyweds a lifetime of joy as they embark on this exciting new chapter together!
