From my very first conversation with Carolyn, I knew that she and Zak would become one of my all time favorite clients. Working with these two and their families was such a dream. Upon booking their date, Carolyn's mom even sent me an awesome book of outdoor play ideas for toddlers (since I'd mentioned my - then 2 year old - son during our consultation call). So thoughtful! I honestly teared up when I opened the package. Just. So. Nice.
When it came to planning their spring celebration at Succop in Butler, PA, we were on the same page from day one. Carolyn's enthusiasm for our local and seasonal flower offerings was such a delight! I was even able to source hydrangeas that matched her wedding invitations perfectly. Dreamy!
As always, decorating the archway at Succop was a fun challenge, and our locally grown flowers were up to the task! We chose an asymmetrical design fearing blush pink peonies, pale blue hydrangeas, and creamy white butterfly ranunculus. All of this was supported by a structurally sound and beautiful base of callery pear branches.
One of my favorite details for this celebration was Carolyn & Zak's cake. I chose to add individual chamomile pieces, creating a little field of blooms right on the cake.
